Getting Lost to Find Your Direction
I’ve been feeling a little lost lately. Lost at which direction I should go as every change in circumstance, each conversation I have, and the various thoughts that seem to enter my mind, all lead me in different directions. Most of these ideas are what I enjoy doing. All are what could eventually lead to me making my enough. But which one is the healthy choice for me?
The signs are there. They have been there for years. I just haven’t seen them. At least seen them the way I needed to. Just in the past several weeks, I’ve had two things happen that have alerted me to which direction I should go.
LEARNING TO RECEIVE
The first happened when Lucy Bloom asked if I would be a guest on her podcast. Little did I know when she told me that the podcast was for people she mentioned or inspired her for her book, Get The Girls Out. She told me I was in it because of my generosity. Lucy and I met at Social Media Marketing World in San Diego about 5 years ago. I was having lunch with someone who asked me if I knew Lucy. When I said no, she told me, “Just look for the woman with the pink mohawk. You can’t miss her.” Later that day, I was scanning the lobby bar at the hotel and saw pink hair standing out from the crowded bar.
